Chejerla is a village and a Mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. A local divine temple of the Lord ChennaKesava with unique old-age back history and the Sankranti festival is best celebrated by thousands of devotees.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Chejerla had a population of 6172. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Chejerla has an average literacy rate of 65.89%, less than the Andhra pradesh average of 67.02%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 57%.
Schools and colleges
Global Wisdom International School is the only one private school recognised by Govt of Andhra Pradesh 1st class to 10th class English Medium and Telugu Medium. CVSR School: This is donated by Timma Reddy.[2]
