The Chicago Carnage are a professional inline hockey team based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. The Carnage were founded in 2000 under the team name, Maximum Carnage, and played in all major and local tournaments. They joined Major League Roller Hockey in 2009 and have also played in the AIHL for one season before returning to the MLRH. The Carnage play all their home games at the Salt Creek Sports Center, formerly known as Hat Trick Hockey in Palatine Illinois. The Carnage was the first new franchise to the MLRH in 2009 after the fall of the Chicago Roller Snakes. Owner and GM Kenny Van Sky had played for the Chicago Roller Snakes prior to their shutting down.

They played their first event in Grand Rapids Michigan in 2009 against the Grand Rapid Reapers.
