Chicken Republic is a fast food restaurant chain that specializes in chicken recipes, especially fried chicken. Chicken Republic was founded by Deji Akinyanju in 2004.[1] The company is a subsidiary of Food concepts Plc, a Nigerian food based company. Headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, Chicken Republic is arguably Nigeria's largest chicken restaurant chain[2] with over 26 outlets in Lagos and over 70 outlets nationwide. Chicken Republic has also expanded services to other West African countries including Ghana.[2][3][4][5][6]
