Chidinma Blessing Okeke (born 22 November 1997) is a Nigerian beauty pageant titleholder from Ogboji, Orumba South local government area, Anambra State who was crowned Miss Anambra State 2015.[1]
Early life and education
She was born to the family of Jeremiah Okeke, a businessman and former distributor for Peak Milk in Aba. She is currently an undergraduate Medical laboratory student at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka.[2]
Sex tape scandal
In October 2016, a two-part video leaked online appearing to show Okeke in a racy scene with her girlfriend and fellow pageant winner Adaobi Nzekwe. In the first video, she is allegedly seen performing a solo sex act using a cucumber as a penetrative toy. As the clip progresses, she is joined by Nzekwe who fondles her and caresses her vagina as she pleasures herself. While Okeke swiftly denied the allegation claiming it was the work of trick photography and vowing to take legal action against whoever was responsible for the leak, she was eventually demoralized after a more lengthy part of tape which gave a clearer picture of her was released a week later.[3]
The sex tape became a scandal, receiving extensive press coverage in Nigeria and abroad. It also became a trending issue in social media Twitter and remained on the top most-searched items on Google Nigeria for weeks.[3] On 31 October, organizers of Miss Diva Awards announced that it will honor Okeke with an award of excellence as Queen of Gold. The social event is scheduled for 18 December 2016 at the Kolanut center in Calabar, Cross River State.[4][5] On 3 November 2016, XVideos, an adult film website took to Twitter to express their interest in Okeke, tweeting "Who is Miss Chidinma Okeke? She should join us for our next casting".[6][7]
In popular culture
Director Sunny Olisaemeka's upcoming film Chidinma and the Cucumber is inspired significantly by the events of the scandal. The film, which was written and produced by Elvis Ogbonna, stars Francis Ikoroha, Joy Simon, Elvis Ogbonna, Ofibu Vincent and Jude Nelson Onyebuchi among others.[8]
