Chortle is a British comedy website. It was set up in 2000.[2]
Chortle offers news, stand-up comedy listings, reviews, comedian profiles. The site is referenced by British newspapers as an industry website.[3][4][5]
During the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Chortle reviews many shows using a 5 star system.[6] Chortle also runs an annual comedy awards.
