Choudhry Muhammad Yousaf
Choudhry Muhammad Yousaf was born on 17 September 1931 in the town of Islamgarh, Mirpur in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He is an educator and former Secretary of Education for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan.
He was educated at Islamgarh primary school Mirpur secondary school and graduated from Gordon college in Rawalpindi.
On 24 September 1954, he was appointed lecturer at Mirpur college.
On 13 October 1967, he was appointed Principal at Government Inter College in Kotli.
On 1 September 1971, he was appointed Principal at the Government Degree College in Kotli.
On 2 May 1973, he was appointed Deputy Director of Colleges at Muzaffrabad.
On 1 March 1977, he was appointed Principal College of Education at Afzalpur.
On 25 July 1978, he was appointed Chairman of Education Board in Mirpur.
On 5 January 1981, he was appointed Chief Nazim of Education in Muzaffrabad.
His greatest accompalished came on 15 January 1987, when he was appointed Secretary of Education of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Pakistan and served in that position until 16 December 1991, when he formally retired.
On 1 April 1993, he founded Kashmir Model College in Mirpur, along with Muhammad Nazir Choudhry.
From 19 January 2002 - 31 December 2002 he served as an Education Advisor to the Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Pakistan.
