Christina Hodson is a British screenwriter best known for writing Shut In.
Career
In December 2013, Hodson's script Seed appeared among the 2013 Black List of best un-produced scripts.[2]
In September 2014, Sony Pictures Entertainment acquired the Hodson's female-centered sci-fi action script The Eden Project for about $750,000, which Tobey Maguire and Material Pictures would produce the film.[3] That script later appeared on the 2014 Black List.
In November 2014, Hodson's psychological thriller script Shut In appeared in the 2012 Black List, and bought by David Linde's Lava Bear Films.[4] The film was directed by Farren Blackburn and is scheduled to be released on November 11, 2016 and has a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.[5]
In May 2015, Warner Bros. hired Hodson to write the new script for The Fugitive, based on the 1993 film of same name. Arnold Kopelson and Anne Kopelson would be returning as producers.[6]
In June 2015, Hodson joined the team at Paramount Pictures tasked by Michael Bay with expanding the Transformers universe under supervision of Akiva Goldsman.[7]
Hodson also co-wrote the script of the film Unforgettable with David Leslie Johnson, which was acquired by Warner Bros.[8] Producer Denise Di Novi has directed the film that is slated for release in 2017.[8]
In November 2016, it was confirmed that Hodson will write the script for the Harley Quinn-centered movie as a part of the DC Extended Universe, which will feature other DC Comics female characters. She is also currently working on the script for the Transformers movie that will focus on Bumblebee.[9][10]
