Christos Iakovou (born 14 February 1948) is a Greek male former weightlifter, who competed in the 82.5 kg category and represented Greece at international competitions. He won the gold medal in the press at the 1971 World Weightlifting Championships lifting 162.5 kg.[1] He was caught for using steroids.[2]
He became after his career coach of the Greek national weightlifting team.[3]
