Chromolaena oteroi (Mona Island thoroughwort),[2] is a West Indian species of flowering shrub in the sunflower family. It has been found only on Mona Island in the West Indies, a small island located between Puerto Rico and Hispaniola but politically part of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.[3][4][5]

Chromolaena oteroi is a shrub with pale purple flowers.[3]

The plant is named for the botanist José I. Otero.[3]
