Chrysocercops argentata is a moth of the Gracillariidae family. It is known from Pahang, Malaysia and from Nepal.[2]

The wingspan is 6.1-6.8 mm.

The larvae feed on Hopea nutans and Shorea robusta. They mine the leaves of their host plant. The mine is an interparenchymal blotch occurring near leaf margins. It is rather large and somewhat swollen. In mature condition the upper surface of the mine is loosened or contracted, and is discoloured into dark brown in a sharp contrast to normal greenish parts of the leaf.
