The Cleburne Railroaders are a planned independent professional baseball team based in Cleburne, Texas set to play in the independent American Association beginning in 2017. The team will play their home games at the Depot in Cleburne Station.[1]
History
The original Cleburne Railroaders played in the Texas League, where they won the 1906 championship.[2] However, the club folded after that season. The modern Railroaders were announced as an expansion franchise in the American Association on October 6, 2016.[3]
