CFI Ltd, Hindi:(भारतीय अनुशिक्षण प्रतिष्ठान सीमित)(Coaching Foundation India Ltd), also known as Executive and Business Coaching Foundation India Ltd, is an institution which specializes in the coaching of CEO'S and Executives.
It is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.CFI has been in the Executive and business coaching for more than 10 years.[1]
Coaching Foundation India Limited is India’s first institution dedicated to the cause of Executive Coaching. CFI trains senior managers to become CEO coaches.
For almost a decade CFI has been helping leaders navigate their way through their leadership challenges and empower them to realise their true potential thereby contributing to long lasting personal and organisational results. CFI has achieved this by building an integrated coaching institution offering training, coaching, continuing education, research and publication services.
CFI offers executive coaching and training services.CFI's flagship program is called PGPEC(Post Graduate Program in Executive Coaching).This is ten-month program and objective is to create executive coaches who can train CEOs and other senior leaders.
CFI has two flagship offerings to create such an internal coaching culture.
I. Leader as Coach and Mentor program
Program Objectives
The leader as coach program is meant to help Leaders develop the skills of coaching and mentoring through which they can engage in formal coaching relationships, informal mentoring relationships and in general incorporate coaching orientation into their style of leadership.
Program Outcomes
At the end of the program participants will be able to:
• Assume the role of internal coach and mentors to address the needs of their employees who have been identified for future positions or who are making transitions.
• Coach / Mentor their colleagues and form an integral part of the internal coaching and mentoring resource pool of the senior management team.
• Demonstrate coaching orientation in their leadership style.
II. Manager as barefoot Coach
The Manager as barefoot Coach Program is meant to help managers incorporate coaching into their managerial style and through that enhance their managerial effectiveness.
Program Objectives
•To familiarize managers about the rightful place of coaching orientation in their role and skill set.
•To enhance self-awareness about how their coaching orientation is perceived.
•To make an appropriate style shift in their roles and embed coaching into their managerial style.
•To provide managers with the skills and process know-how to become coaching oriented.
Pradipta K. Mohapatra and Ganesh Chella, who founded the Coaching Foundation of India,have written a book “Are You Ready for the Corner Office”.The book explains the value and business results that executive coaching delivers.
