Coleraine Castle
Coleraine Castle was a castle situated at Coleraine, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Originally constructed sometime in the 12th century, it was controlled by Thomas of Galloway and besieged by Hugh de Lacy with the King of Tir Eoghain, Aed O'Neill and destroyed the castle. The castle was rebuilt by Justiciar of Ireland, John FitzGeoffrey in 1248.
