Columns explanation
Some columns of the List of Active BPMN 2.0 Engines table collect data useful in the context of performance measurement and benchmark of BPMN 2.0 WfEs.[Note 4] The following are the benchmark related columns and requirements in order to a WfE to be considered while benchmarking:
- Deployable Process Definition Language. A WfE must supports the deployment of BPMN 2.0 process models;
- BPMN 2.0 Core Support.[22] A WfE must supports at least the BPMN 2.0 Core elements;
- Release Date. A WfE must be in active development;
- Testability Status. A WfE must be testable. It has to expose an API or method calls to interact with the WfE, at least for:
- deploy a process;
- request to start the process execution;
- access pending user, manual and receive tasks, intermediate catching message and signal events;
- access process execution log.
