CtrlShift is a data-driven audience-focused marketing solutions company, with its headquarters in Singapore. The company provides expertise in data-driven audience solutions, connecting marketers to their consumers on a global scale. It was founded in January 2015 from the merger of three advertising technology companies: scientific media buying platform AdzCentral; digital consultancy Better; and ad-tech distribution company Asia Digital Ventures.[1]

CtrlShift is led by CEO Deepika Nikhilender since August 2016.[2] Deepika joined CtrlShift in March 2016 as Managing Director[3] to lead two of CtrlShift’s most prominent business units: Marketer Solutions and Publisher Solutions. Before joining CtrlShift, Deepika was the Leader of the Business Planning practice and CEO of Mindshare-GEMS, in the Asia Pacific Hub office.

CtrlShift's Board of Directors is led by the three co-founders: Rene E. Menezes (former CEO of Better), Reza Behnam (former CEO of AdzCentral) and Pete Yoong (former partner of Asia Digital Ventures).

CtrlShift is engaged in providing data-driven solutions to marketers, publishers and partners. Full managed services are provided for digital & programmatic media. With data as a spine, CtrlShift's multi-disciplinary team provides marketers and publishers effective access to wide audience segments at scale. This is achieved primarily through a proprietary technology and a cutting-edge platform, known as AdzHub, that unifies and optimises one of the most complex and fragmented ecosystems.

The solutions are often made up of a combination of advice, strategy, data science, audience optimisation, technology development, operational effectiveness and marketing execution.

For Publishers, CtrlShift offers trusted advice in building technology stacks and helping them create audiences, with an ultimate aim of increasing yield. Premium inventories are also acquired to build a compelling qualitative advantage to brands and their communication.

CtrlShift also has its own proprietary trading desk platform, that is uniquely poised as an intelligent enabler for digital campaign management – powered by multiple exchanges, DSPs and an intuitive decision science system.

At 150 people strong, across 5 markets in Southeast Asia, CtrlShift boasts a large client portfolio of global, regional and local publishers and marketers. These clients depend on CtrlShift for innovative, integrated solutions to achieve their desired business outcome anywhere across the connected globe.

It is backed by venture capital firms Digital Media Partners,[4] IDM Venture Capital,[5] the Singapore National Research Foundation and CFF Partners.[6]

In May 2015, CtrlShift was listed in Founders Grid’s top 50 thriving startups in Southeast Asia.[7] It has offices in five Southeast Asian countries: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.[1] In December 2015, CtrlShift was listed in the top 3 of the favourite DSPs partners in Singapore from the digital & advertising industry. (Marketing Interactive Magazine - Edition December 2015). Few months later, it reached the same position in the Malaysia market. (Marketing Interactive Magazine - Edition Sept 2016).

CtrlShift partners with Linkedin, Spotify, comScore, YOOSE, TubeMogul, Lotame[8] and Sizmek[9] among others.
