Curt Gogol (born September 21, 1991) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Colorado Eagles in the ECHL.
Playing career
Gogol played major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League. On his 19th birthday, September 21, 2010, Gogol was signed as an undrafted free agent to a two-way contract with the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League and was assigned to play the 2011–12 season in the American Hockey League with the Worcester Sharks.[1]
In the final year of his contract with the Sharks, Gogol was traded to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Chad Rau on February 5, 2014.[2]
After parts of two season's in the Wild organization, Gogol was released as a free agent in the off-season. With the 2015–16 in progression, on November 11, 2015, Gogol signed an AHL professional try-out contract with the Ontario Reign of the AHL.[3] Gogol featured in 7 scoreless games with the Reign before he was released and signed for the remainder of the year with the Colorado Eagles of the ECHL on February 12, 2016.[4]
