Cut 4 Me
Cut 4 Me is the debut studio album by U.S. recording artist Kelela, released in October 2013 by the Fade to Mind label.
Seeking to make the mixtape sound like a remix album,[8] Kelela added her own vocals on over instrumental tracks by DJs from Fade to Mind and Night Slugs.
Spin has described the sound of these sister imprints as "one of the most distinctive sounds in U.K. dance music, a mutable hybrid of grime, house, electro, R&B, techno, hip hop, and dubstep."[9]
The album earned praise from music critics and contemporaries including Solange Knowles and Björk, as well as being listed in publications' year-end lists.
