[1]
History
The Dana Energy Company was established in 2000 in Tehran with the main purpose of developing upstream oil and gas projects. The company started its first seismic project in 2002. In 2006 Dana got involved in the execution of drilling projects on an EPD (engineering, procurement and drilling) basis and the provision of rig and drilling services in Iranian fields and the region. [2][1]
On 14 December 2008, Dana Energy initiated a deal to buy the PetroIran company,[3] but the deal was not finalized.[4] The purchase deal was terminated, and the case was closed in 2012 due to the long period of transition.
