Daniel Harris Johnson

Daniel Harris Johnson was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and a Wisconsin Circuit Court judge.
Biography
Johnson was born on July 27, 1825 in Kingston, Ontario.[1] After attending Rock River Seminary, Johnson moved to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin in 1848. He died on June 15, 1900 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Career
Johnson was a member of the Assembly in 1861 and again from 1869 to 1870 as a Republican.[2] After becoming a Democrat, John served on the Milwaukee School Board from 1873 to 1874. He was a member again from 1882 to 1883. From 1878 to 1880, Johnson was City Attorney of Milwaukee. Johnson became a judge of the Circuit Court in 1888 and remained so until his death.
