Daphne Fitzpatrick

Daphne Fitzpatrick (born 1964) is an artist based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY.

Fitzpatrick was born in Long Island. Her work encompasses sculpture, video, photography and a variety of found objects and images.[1] She references the idea of a modern flaneur in her work,[2] and makes visual puns on sexuality.[3]

Fitzpatrick was a member of the faculty at Yale.[4] She was also one of the founders of Bellwether Gallery, by which she was later represented. She is currently represented by American Contemporary Gallery in New York, NY.
