David Thompson (born 17 March 1978 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia is an Australian rugby league player who played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, North Queensland Cowboys and South Sydney Rabbitohs.
He was part of the Bulldogs side who lost the 1998 NRL Grand Final.
