Day of Love is about Haruki, the main character, who knew about a girl named Maho when he was young but forgot about her when he was older, which had made her angry when she asked him years later when he's in high school. Main characters

Haruki Tojo(東上春樹): The main character and protagonist of the game and the character the player controls. Being somewhat insensitive and cold plus having been voted to be his school's 'Chairman of Conduct', Haruki has been mis-nicknamed 'The Devil Chairman' although in truth he's actually kinda thoughtful but lazy. He once knew Maho as a child, he forgot about her when she moved away, thus enraging Maho when the two meet again at a park near Haruki's school.

Maho Yoshikawa: A childhood friend of the main character and the adopted little sister of Michiru Hiragi, Maho is the main heroine of the story. When she was little she developed a strong crush on Haruki and continued having one on him even when she moved away for medical reasons. Making a bet with Michiru, Maho confronts Haruki with hopes he would remember her only to become enraged when she finds out he had completely forgotten all about her. Having lost the bet with Michiru, Maho is forced to attend a semester at Haruki's school as Mao Hiragi, a male student but Haruki's room mate as well. She decides to use her newfound position to get revenge on Haruki, but realizes she still loves him too much.

Mao Hiragi(柊茂): Having lost a bet with her older sister, Michiru, Maho Yoshikawa was forced to attend a school semester as a guy, and thus Mao Hiragi was born. A very frail and girlish boy by appearance, Mao is actually very stubborn and manipulative. At first he(she) is hostile and critical toward Haruki, Mao eventually becomes a close friend of Haruki's and helps him out on several occasions.

Isami Anayama(イサミ穴山): A young and talented actor at the main character's school, she is the sister of Seiji. Although the head of the school's drama club and a talented actress, she is serious, proud, and generally unsociable.
