Dimitris Rizos is a Greek Architect

Biography

He was born in Lamia (city), Greece, in 1958. He graduated from the School of Architecture of NTUA of Athens.

He is also Civil Engineer of the A.S.E.TE.M. SELETE of Athens, Topographer of D.T.E. and also graduated from the Pedagogic School of SELETE of Athens and Maraslios Pedagogic Academy of Athens.

He has been repeatedly awarded prizes and has received distinctions in architectural competitions such as the European Architectural Competition «Working in the City», organized by the Research European Union 1989 (Award for Composition and Design areas of education and health – University College Dublin 17-05-1989), the Architectural Competition by invitation for the Cultural Center of the foundation «GAZI – TRIANTAFYLLOPOULOU» in Karpenissi in 1995 and the Architectural Competition by invitation for the building of Médecins Sans Frontières of Greece in Athens in 1997.

He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), Association of University Graduate Architects (SADAS) – NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF AR CHITECTS (SMO), Professional – Scientific Engineering Technology Education Association (E.E.T.E.M.). It is a registered and certified in the records of the National Certification Qualifications and Vocational Guidance (EOPPEP) GREECE
