The Dinagyaw sa Tablas Festival (Hiligaynon: Pista sang Dinagyaw sa Tablas, is a festival held each year in Municipality of Candoni, Negros Occidental, Philippines. It is held every every February 11.
Etymology
The word "Dinagyaw" is a Hiligaynon word which means a concerted actions exerted by persons involved in accomplishing something without expecting compensation.
History
The Dinagyaw sa Tablas Festival aims to project and manifest the spirit of cooperation exerted by the Tablenos when they trail blazed the wilderness of the Tabla Valley in 1934 and established the Tabla Valley settlement that became the predecessor of Candoni.
The festivities introduces a combined performances of dance drama and arena presentation that reflects the "Pagbinuligay" spirit pervading of the pioneers of Tabla led by the late Santiago H. Diego in their desire to own a piece of land they can call their own. The establishment of Tabla Valley settlement paved the birth of Candoni as a settlement considered as the center of economic and civil of settlers, to become a town in Negros Occidental.
The festival of Candoni was previously known as "Pabalhas sa Tablas", however on the year 2009 the Municipal Mayor, Cicero D. Borromeo ordered to change the name to "Dinagyaw sa Tablas" which is more relevant on the celebration that commemorates the effort of the Tablenos who untiringly exerted their effort to have a piece of land they can own.
In 2011 to 2013, the then Mayor, Jechonias G. Manzano revived the festival name to "Pabalhas sa Tablas. Again, in 2013 to present, Cicero D. Borromeo revived the name to "Dinagyaw sa Tablas".
Celebration
The celebration of "Dinagyaw sa Tablas" festival stemmed from the history of Candoni wherein the settlers headed by Satiago H. Diego who fathered the move to make Candoni the center of Tabla Valley Settlement, pooled their resources together and out of their ardent desire and determination for a brighter future.
The festival adopts a "Bahay Kubo" as a symbol of Tablenos to exemplify the "Pagbinuligay" spirit.
Major activities during the festival week are the Dinagyaw sa Tablas Arena Competition, Street Dancing and Lin-ay sang Tablas. Other annual activities include agro-industrial fair, Dep-Ed pupils and students presentation, motocross and live bands.

Festival Notes
- Barangay Haba was not awarded as the Grand Slam winner despite winning three (3) consecutive wins in 2013, 2014 and 2015 since the festival name in 2013 is "Pabalhas sa Tablas" and in 2014 and 2015 is "Dinagyaw sa Tablas".
