Joseph A. "Doc" Alexander (April 1, 1898 – September 12, 1975) was an American football player and coach. He played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Rochester Jeffersons and the New York Giants. He was inducted to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1954.
