Doruk Kamış (born on May 22, 1994) is a Turkish ice hockey defenceman. Currently, he plays in the Turkish Ice Hockey Super League for Zeytinburnu BS and is a member of the Turkey men's national ice hockey team. The 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in) tall player at 68 kg (150 lb) shoots right-handed.[1]
Playing career
Club
Kamış began his ice hockey career appearing in the 2009–10 Turkish Ice Hockey Super League season for Kocaeli BB Kağıt SK, where he played until the end of the 2012–13 season.[2][3] He transferred to İzmit Şirintepe in the 2013–14 season. After playing one season with [İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyesi GSK (men's ice hockey)|İzmir BB GSK]], he signed for the league-champion Zeytinburnu BS.[1]
International
Kamış took part at the IIHF World U18 Championship Division III in 2009 and 2010 as a member of the national U18r team. He participated at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championships – Division III in 2011, 2013 and 2014 with the national U20 team.[3] For the national team, he played at the 2014 IIHF World Championship Division II.[1]
