Dr. Juan C. Angara Airport (Filipino: Paliparang Dr. Juan C. Angara, Ilokano: Pagtayaban ti Dr. Juan C. Angara),[1] also known as Baler Airport (IATA: BQA, ICAO: RPUR), is the airport serving the general area of Baler, the capital of Aurora province in the Philippines. Although it serves Baler, the airport is actually located in the neighboring municipality of San Luis. It is named after Juan C. Angara, the father of Senator Edgardo Angara and provincial governor Bellaflor Angara-Castillo.
The airport is classified as a community airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, a body of the Department of Transportation and Communications responsible for the operations of all airports in the Philippines except the major international airports.
