Eastern Christian Middle School (ECMS) is a private Christian school located in Wyckoff, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The school is a part of the Eastern Christian School Association which also has a high school (Eastern Christian High School) in Wyckoff and an elementary (ECES) and preschool in Midland Park.
As of the 2011-12 school year, the school had an enrollment of 210 students and 20 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis) for a student-teacher ratio of 10.4:1.[2]
Academics
Eastern Christian Middle School has many regular and elective classes. The school offers Art, Bible, Computers, Health, Language Arts, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies.[4] Beginning in middle school, all Eastern Christian Middle School students are required to complete a minimum number of volunteer hours each year as part of their "Faith in Action" program.
In 2015, Eastern Christian School was recognized as a National School of Character.
Athletics
Eastern Christian Middle School offers soccer, basketball, and track.
