Elappally is a village in Thodupuzha Taluk, Idukki district in Kerala, India. It is located 26 km from Thodupuzha town, 106 km from Kochi city, and 102 km from Kottayam town.

The Elappally Falls are situated near Moolamattom Wagamon road, which originates in the upper reaches of the Western Ghats. This fall will be active only in monsoon season and will be dry during the summer season. The ideal time to visit this is from June – September.

Route: Accessibility through Road only. Kottayam - Pala - Thodupuzha - Moolamattom - Elappally 102 km. Ernakulam - Muvattupuzha - Thodupuzha - Moolamattom - Elappally 106 km.
