Ember Technologies was founded in 2012 by inventor and entrepreneur Clayton Alexander.[1] The company based in Westlake Village, California makes drinkware and dishware that can be thermally controlled. The first product is a temperature adjustable travel mug, was designed by Ammunition Design Group.[2] The temperature of the liquid within the mug can be controlled either manually by rotating a dial on the bottom of the mug, or with the Ember app that will be available for Android and iOS.[3]
