Errol Gluck
Errol Gluck (born January 2, 1955) is a New York hypnotist, life coach, radio personality, and founder of Gluck Solutions.[1]
Career
Gluck received a Ph.D. in Theology in 1977 from Logos Christian College.[2] He began his career in Rational Cognitive Coaching in 1980. Specializing in a system he created deemed Anthropological Mythology, he worked to see permanent changes in his patients on a neurological and emotional level. In the early 1980s, he incorporated clinical hypnosis, and became certified to practice and teach clinical hypnosis by the National Guild of Hypnotists in 1988.[3] Since then, he has amassed over 100,000 hours of working with patients, in which he has developed his unique brand of clinical hypnosis and life coaching. He has served as a consultant for Deloitte Touche and published articles in Golf Life magazine. He is the author of the book Uncommon Sense: Thoughts of A Renegade Psychotherapist (ISBN 0971705003), and hosts a monthly radio show on WABC called Living Better With Laura Smith.[4]
In March 2015, Gluck appeared on the The Better Show alongside dating expert, Rori Sassoon, to talk about the key to maintaining power couples.[5]
GluckRadio
Gluck started a podcast called GluckRadio in May 2012. It is an interview-format show featuring those in the fields of self-help, sexuality, psychology, politics and culture. In addition to the site GluckRadio.com, the show is also syndicated on WABC radio's website.[6] Past guests have included Aubrey de Grey, Kate Bornstein, Annabelle Gurwitch, Victoria Jackson, Dan Barker, Oscar Goodman, Howard Wasdin, Jesse Bering, David Jay, James Martin, Sarah Burge, Aaron Klein, Jimmy LaSalvia, Occupy Wall Street activists, Noel Biderman, Ken Stern, Martin Jacques, Nicholas Gonzalez, Brian Cuban, and Jennifer Pharr Davis [7]
A lost episode of GluckRadio resurfaced, in which Gluck interviewed 9/11 conspiracy theorist James H. Fetzer. The show was quickly taken down from GluckRadio by the show's producers, but Fetzer had recorded the interview and published it on his own radio show, The Real Deal, along with commentary on the show.[8] Fetzer and others recalled Gluck's hosting style as agenda-driven and "hostile."
In September 2013, GluckRadio added romance expert Betsy Prioleau as a co-host, but she left in August 2014 because of creative differences. Beginning in October 2014, Gluck occasionally had relationship coach and podcaster Mark Derian, from the popular blog Animus Empire, co-host some shows pertaining to masculinity, sexuality, and dating. Derian was let go in February 2015.
New York-based John Alexander Busi is the show's sound engineer.
Personal Life
Gluck maintains two homes with his wife Mirela Gluck; on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in Connecticut. He has two daughters, Melissa Gluck and Leanne Gluck. His first wife, as he mentions in his podcast several times, died of breast cancer in 2000. Gluck is Jewish.
