Eunoia Junior College is a junior college in Singapore which offers Integrated Programme (IP) with Catholic High School, Singapore Chinese Girls' School and CHIJ Saint Nicholas Girls' School. It will be located at a temporary site in Mount Sinai until its permanent campus along Sin Ming Avenue is ready.[1]
History
Eunoia Junior College was established alongside the Catholic High School – CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ School – Singapore Chinese Girls’ School Joint Integrated Programme (JIP), which accepted the first cohort of IP Year One students in January 2013.[2]
The name of the junior college was announced on 29 December 2015 by Acting Minister of Education (Schools), Ng Chee Meng, in an MOE ceremony at Shangri-La Hotel to appoint and appreciate the country's principals.[1]
Eunoia Junior College will be located at a temporary site in Mount Sinai when it opens, until its permanent campus located at the junction of Sin Ming Avenue and Marymount Road is ready in late 2019 (delayed from 2018 due to the construction of the Cross Island Line).[3][4] The majority of its students will be from the Joint Integrated Programme (IP) at Catholic High School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls' School and Singapore Chinese Girls' School, while accepting O-level students from all other secondary schools.[5]
