The European Academy of Paediatrics is a European medical society for pediatricians, the pediatrics branch of UEMS (The Union of European Medical Specialists). It was founded in 1961, holding its first meeting in Siena, Italy.[1]
The current President of the academy is Professor Tom Stiris from Norway
