Evansville Christian School, also known as ECS, is a private, Christian school with several locations throughout the Evansville, tri-state area in Southwestern Indiana.
History
Evansville Christian School was founded in 1975. In 1990, it incorporated as a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation with an independent board of directors. In 2002, the school started its second campus serving Evansville's Northside. Over the years, ECS has experienced a significant increase in activities, athletics, and enrollment, with approximately 600 students in full time enrollment as of 2011.
ECS is fully accredited by the Indiana Department of Education, the Association of Christian Schools International, and the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.
Grounds and Location
ECS' "East Campus", serving PK-5th grade students, is located on Lincoln Avenue inside Bethel Temple Community Church. The "North Campus", serving K-2nd grade students, is located on Millersburg Road inside Christian Fellowship Church. The "Cullen" Campus, located on Kentucky Avenue inside of the Evansville Christian Life Center, is where 6-9th graders are taught. The school has access to several soccer fields located on the grounds of Crossroads Christian Church. They are planning to tear down these fields with the permission of Crossroads and Epworth United Methodist Church and build a new high school there.

Evansville Christian School is structured in teams across both facilities to meet the needs of Pre-Kindergarten (full-day), Kindergarten (full-day), Elementary School (1st-3rd grade), Intermediate School (4th and 5th grade), and Middle School (6th thru 8th grade) students.
