Farex
Farex is a food for babies and infants made primarily from flour and enriched with vitamins. It was produced by the company Glaxo.[1]
About
In 1934, Farex baby cereal was first produced by the company Glaxo, who was widely known for their knowledge and experience in feeding babies. Still today, Farex is one of the most popular and trusted first foods for babies in Australia and New Zealand. Farex baby cereals now offer cereals for different ages and aid in the development of each stage of a baby's beginning months. They offer baby's first cereals but also good nutritious cereals for older babies.[2]
Benefits
Farex cereals are enriched with iron, which help support proper growth and development in babies. Having a very smooth texture, Farex is perfect for a baby's first food. Farex baby cereal has no added salt, sugar, preservatives, or artificial flavors. They also come in a variety of appropriate textures and flavors depending on the baby's stage. Once the baby can handle the smooth textured first foods, he/she can move to the next stage of food to help in the development of chewing and swallowing ability.[2]
