Filippo Romagna(born 26 May 1997) is an Italian football player who plays as centre-back for Italian Serie B club Novara, on loan from Juventus.[1]
Club career
Early career
Born in 1997, Romagna started his football career with the local team in the his hometown, Fano. At the age of 10, Romagna moved to Rimini. In 2011, Inter Milan tried to sign with Romagna but he eventually joined in the Juventus Primavera team.[2] In the team, he was the captain and the center of the defense.[3]
Juventus
In 2014, Romagna was called up for Juventus first team. He had ridden the pine in the several games from 2013 to 2015 but he didn't play any game in the first team.
Novara (loan)
On 29 August 2016, Novara announced that Romagna was loaned to Novara until the end of 2016/17 Season.[4] On 22 October 2016, he made professional debut against Avellino at Stadio Silvio Piola in the Serie B, replacing Gianluca Sansone in the 79th minute.[5]
International career
Romagna has represented his country at various age groups. On 19 October 2013, He was first called up and played for Italy U17 against Ukraine U17. With the Italy U19 he took part at the 2016 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, playing five games in the tournament, Italy finishing the competition as a runners-up.[6]
