NWA Force One Pro Wrestling (F1PW) was an American independent professional wrestling promotion based in New Jersey. It ran shows in Egg Harbor Township and in Hammonton NJ.[2]
History
In late 2006, Tommy Cairo formed the Force One Pro Wrestling promotion and training school. This was a cooperative effort between Cairo, Phil Varlese, former wrestling talk show host, trainers Pat (White Lotus) DiGiacomo and James (Diego DeMarco) Pillman. Additional assistance was provided by Dan Brown of D. Benjamen Brown Productions, who produces many MMA pay per views and other shows in both Atlantic City, New Jersey and Las Vegas, Nevada.[2] Force One’s debut show took place on Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. The show was titled Pledge of Allegiance.[3]
In 2010, changing their name from Force One to Force 1, F1PW relaunched as a member of the National Wrestling Alliance. F1PW ran their final event April 21, 2012.
F1PW wrestling school
F1PW ran the Force 1 Training Center in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey at the Spontaneous Sports recreation complex.[4] The school focuses on teaching students the fundamentals and basics of all facets of professional wrestling and also provides graduates and established professional wrestlers a place to further hone their skills every Tuesday and Thursday night. Guest trainers have made appearances throughout the years to diversify the training of students. Graduates of the school include Matt Saigon, Razor Rivera, Josh Adams, Kevin Cunningham, Johnny Calzone, referee Kris Levin, and Luscious Laron.
