GOG is a handball club based in the small town of Gudme on Funen, Denmark. The club was founded on 1 May 1973 and was the result of a merger between Gudbjerg, Oure and Gudme. The club is one of the most successful in the history of Danish handball. Currently, GOG competes in the men's Danish Handball League.
During the 1990s and the beginning of the 2000s, GOG's men team won 6 Danish titles, and in 2007, the newly established team won their first gold medal as a united club. GOG's women team won 4 Danish titles in a row, in the beginning of the 1990s. Currently only the men side competes in th
The current manager is former Greenland international handball player and GOG player, Jakob Larsen.
History
GOG Svendborg TGI

The team GOG Svendborg TGI was founded in 2005, when GOG and Svendborg TGI merged their first teams to create the new club. The club won the Danish championship for men in the 2006/2007 season. In 2009 a cooperation between Odense HF and GOG Svendborg TGI was made and HC Odense was established. The clubs women team was separated from GOG itself and moved over to HC Odense. On 26 January 2010 the club was declared bankrupt.[1]
GOG 2010
On 18 March 2010, the club was reformed as GOG 2010 A/S, with Kasper Jørgensen as new CEO and Hemming Van as chairman of the board. The club was relegated to the Danish 2nd division. After the 2010-11 season the club was promoted to Danish 1st division. In the 2012/2013 season, GOG managed to win 1st division and was promoted to the men's Danish Handball League.
