Gillian Leng
Gillian Catherine Leng CBE is a British health administrator and academic. She is the deputy CEO and the director of health and social care for the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), and a visiting professor at King's College London.
Leng studied medicine at Leeds University, and researched the epidemiology of peripheral vascular disease at Edinburgh University.[1]
Leng was appointed a CBE in the 2011 Birthday Honours.
As of 2015, Leng was paid a salary of between £180,000 and £184,999 by NICE, making her one of the 328 most highly paid people in the British public sector at that time.[2]
She enjoys gardening.[3]
