Giovanna Venetiglio Matheus (born December 3, 1989) is a Brazilian trampoline gymnast.
Giovanna was born in Rio de Janeiro and began trampolining at age 9, competing for Nucleo Tatiana Figueiredo. Her coach is Tatiana Figueiredo, a former Olympic Gymnast (having competed for Brazil in the 1984 Summer Olympics). She won a bronze medal[1] at the 2007 Pan-American Games held in her hometown, in the individual event (coming after Canadian favorites Karen Cockburn and Rosannagh MacLennan). She won a bronze medal[2] at the 2011 World Championships[3] in Kawasaki, Japan in the same event.
Giovanna is part of the Brazilian delegation competing in the 2011 Pan American Games held in Guadalajara.[4]
