The EP contains four songs with the word "Girl" in the title. Side 1 features "Girls About Town" and "Girl Don't Tell Me". Side 2 features "Got Me a Girl" and "Girls Are Like That". "Girl Don't Tell Me" is a Brian Wilson song originally recorded by The Beach Boys and included on their 1965 LP Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!); the remaining three songs are originals from the pen of Smithereens' singer/guitarist Pat DiNizio.
