Glendalys Medina

Glendalys Medina was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx. Medina is an interdisciplinary artist who received her MFA from Hunter College in 2008. Her work has been exhibited at Artists Space, Bronx Museum of the Arts,[1] and El Museo del Barrio. She was awarded a residency at El Museo Del Barrio in 2015, Yaddo in 2014, the John Armstrong Chaloner/Jacob H. Lazarus-Metropolitan Museum of Art Rome Prize in Visual Arts in 2012-2013 from the American Academy in Rome,[2] a NYFA Fellowship in Interdisciplinary Art in 2012, and the Bronx Museum's Artist in the Marketplace residency in 2010.
