Golden Days Diamond Nights was the final album by Nite City, a band that included former Doors' member Ray Manzarek. The album's title is taken from a lyric from a song from The Doors album, Full Circle entitled "Get Up and Dance" and a song from Manzarek's solo album, The Whole Thing Started with Rock & Roll Now It's Out of Control entitled "Perfumed Garden".
