Gomphogaster is a fungal genus in the family Gomphidiaceae. Circumscribed in 1972 by American mycologist Orson K. Miller, Jr.,[1] the genus is monotypic, containing the single gasteroid species Gomphogaster leucosarx, found in the United States.[2]
