Gurutzeta/Cruces is a station of the Line 2 of Metro Bilbao. It is located in the neighborhood of Gurutzeta, in the municipality of Barakaldo in the Greater Bilbao area.[1] The station before is Ansio and the station after is San Inazio. The station is located near "Hospital de Cruces" (Cruces Hospital or literal Crosses Hospital), which is part of Osakidetza, the Basque Health Service, and the biggest hospital on the Basque Country.[2] The fare zone of the station is B2.
The section between San Inazio Station and Gurutzeta-Cruces Station is linked by Metro Bilbao in four minutes, making it the longest interval between underground stations throughout the entire Bilbao subway network. There are three more stations located in this municipality; Ansio, Bagatza and Barakaldo.
