HD 2421 is a class A2V (white main-sequence) star in the constellation Andromeda. Its apparent magnitude is 5.18 and it is approximately 283 light years away based on parallax.
It is a spectroscopic binary with period 3.96 days and eccentricity 0.15, reported by Baker in 1909 and orbit computed by Udick in 1912.[2]
