Halk Bank ("People's Bank"), or Halkbank, is a Turkmen state-owned bank. Headquarters in Ashgabat. A network offices of Halkbank covers the whole territory of Turkmenistan, where the public a wide range of inputs and services. The success of the bank in 2011, confirmed by the magazine «The Banker», the bank has awarded the high title of "Best Bank of the Year in Turkmenistan".[2]
Building
October 12, 2011 in Ashgabat was commissioned a new building of Halkbank. It has the original architecture, the 12-story building located on Atamyrat Niyazov Avenue. The opening of the office "Halkbank" timed to the 10th anniversary of the formation of the bank. The building has a large operating room, offices for work with VIP-clients, modern ATMs, a help desk, a conference room for 200 people, in addition, for each of the upper floors provide a space intended for official meetings and negotiations.
