Hidekaz Himaruya (Japanese: 日丸屋秀和 Hepburn: Himaruya Hidekazu, born May 8, 1985), romanized as Hidekazu Himaruya,[1] and dubbed "Lord Hima", "Dark Lord Hima", and/or "Hima-Papa" by his fans, is a Japanese manga artist from Kōriyama, Fukushima. He dropped out of the Parsons The New School for Design and as of February 2012 he was a resident of New York City.[2] He is most known for writing and illustrating the webmanga series Hetalia: Axis Powers, which has been adapted into an anime with six seasons.
