Hutton Cliffs

The Hutton Cliffs (77°44′S 166°52′E / 77.733°S 166.867°E / -77.733; 166.867Coordinates: 77°44′S 166°52′E / 77.733°S 166.867°E / -77.733; 166.867) are cliffs on the west side of Hut Point Peninsula on Ross Island, Antarctica, about 2 nautical miles (4 km) north of Ford Rock. They were discovered by the British National Antarctic Expedition (1901–04) and named for Captain Hutton of the Canterbury Museum, Christchurch, New Zealand.[1]
