If I Were You (k.d. lang song)

"If I Were You" is a 1995 single written by k.d. lang and Ben Mink and performed by k.d. lang.[1] The single was the first release from lang's All You Can Eat album. "If I Were You" proved to be a hit in lang's native Canada, where it went to #24 on the Canadian pop chart and #4 on the Canadian Adult Contemporary chart. On the US charts, the single was lang's second and last number one on the dance chart.[2] Overseas, "If I Were You" went to #23 in Australia and #53 in the UK.
